What a Busy Day!

Yesterday, March 12, was such a busy day! Christian was in a great mood and wanted to do something fun, so we went to the Imagine Children's Museum in Everett with Kristen and Derrick. Derrick is Christian's best friend, and Kristen mine, so it works out great! :)

The boys had a great time at the Children's Museum, but it was packed so we didn't stay long. We decided to go to McDonalds for lunch and then to the Open Gym at Sky Valley Gymnastics. Every Friday they have a 1 hour open gym where you can bring your kids to get some energy out! They can go on the tramploine, the beams, roll on the ground, jump into the foam pit, go on the rope swing, etc. Both of the boys had a great time and were all tired out (perfect!) so we came home and put the boys to bed.

About 30 minutes later, Christian is supposed to be taking a nap, but I can hear him upstairs walking around...not thinking much of it as he now sleeps in underwear and gets up often to use the bathroom, I just kept reading my facebook posts! All of a sudden, I can hear water dripping from somewhere I turn around and as I do, the fire alarms go off! Christian starts screaming and I run upstairs as fast as I can. I grab Christian and go to run out the front door but realize there is not a fire...the alarms are going off because water is dripping from one of them. I search the house to try to figure out what's going on. I'm thinking that the roof is leaking or something. Come to find out, Christian had plugged the toilet and flooded the bathroom, which went through the floor, through the ceiling, and out the fire alarm!

Tim is at work so Anthony (Derrick's dad) came over and turned of the fire alarms and I cleaned it all up...what an event!

To end the night, Kristen, Anthony, Tim, and I took the kids out to dinner and bowling! This was their very first REAL bowling experience. They had a great time and Christian insisted on doing it all himself. He rolled the ball by himself at a whopping .4 mph, but it eventually made it down the lane! He even got a spare on the first roll (such a natural at everything he does). He ended up with a score of 53...not far behind my score of 94...he's pretty good! :)

What a day! Guess I better get used to this kind of stuff with a 3 year old boy in the house!
